Stencils / Impress on Borders

stencils for applying easy lettering

To help capture the vintage appearance to my designs, I have add unique logo's. To help you reproduce these slender and straight lined letters, I have added stencils. These are very delicately cut so when you are apply your paint over the stencil, use it sparingly and with a soft touch. Princeton's deerfoot works great. Pounce the paint off your brush before applying to the stencil. Too much paint will bleed in behind the stencil. Also take care when cleaning pulling gently in one direction.  Use warm water, not hot.  Use a mild detergent, stencil cleaner or Deco Magic.  Lie flat to clean as well as on a towel to dry. Enjoy!
